Commitment of Care
Aid to Women has been serving women in the greater Cedar Rapids
area for over 25 years.  We are committed to empowering women to grow
and make healthy, informed decisions before, during, and after an
unplanned pregnancy.  All of our services are free and confidential.

Pregnancy Tests, Ultrasound, and Options Information

    Whether you think you might be pregnant or you have already had a positive test at home,
    we encourage you to come in for an appointment.  We can provide you with a medical
    diagnosis of your pregnancy and an measurement of how far along you are.  Your
    pregnancy diagnosis will include a urine pregnancy test and an ultrasound exam to
    confirm that you have a viable pregnancy.  In addition to these medical services, you will
    meet with a caring, trained client advocate who will help you consider your options.  This
    time is all about you.  You can ask questions, talk through your feelings and pressures,

Post-Abortion Recovery and Support

    Already had an abortion?  Aid to Women is here to help you deal with the painful and
    sometimes overwhelming feelings in the months or years after abortion.  We offer
    confidential support groups as well as one-on-one support.

Earn While You Learn Program

    Life can be challenging without a support system.  Our classes offer you opportunities for
    personal growth, mentoring, and lasting friendships.  Also, if you have a need, by
    attending class you earn ongoing help with basic needs items like diapers, formula,
    clothing, and groceries to help lift some pressure off of you while you are on your growth
    journey.
Aid to Women pregnancy resource center provides support and accurate information about all pregnancy options.
 However, Aid to Women does not offer abortion services or abortion referrals.
